Scheduler for Marketing Content

Management software to create engaging content
Project Overview
The CS team had to organize and plan the marketing content that would be sent to the sellers in order to incentivize them to post on social media. We needed to speed up the process and make it easier for sellers to market their products on social media as Black Friday approached.

The solution was to map out the entire process of conducting interviews and making it easier and faster with a UI solution that automatically communicates with all sellers.
My Contributions
My role was to manage and lead the entire design process in order to complete the deliverables on time (before blackfriday).
We interviewed the Customer Success team to identify the gaps and challenges in incentivizing store sellers to market their products on social media. During this process, we discovered that each had its own process, which was quite manual.

They used spreadsheets to organize the midia and the app to send the content, but not every seller knew how to get the midia through the app, so the CS team had to send it via other methods such as whatsapp and e-mail.

Problem
We needed to incentivize sellers to use the app to post on social media.

The main challenge was to make it easier and faster for the Customer Success team to send content and to train sellers to post on social media in order to attract more customers.

To begin, we conducted market research and examined all major management platforms for creating social media content. We discovered that the main feature of all of those products is the capacity to schedule content for automatic posting, and the main visual component for this task is a calendar interface.

I assembled the design team to define how the main components of the calendar interface would function. We had some great ideas and decided to use tabs for managing and creating content so that the user could still see the calendar. For feedback, we determined that it would be best to have a modal to show the user exactly what would happen when the job was done.We also added these components to the design system so that we could reuse them and keep a pattern.

Design Review
We conducted a usability test with the Customer Success team and achieved a task success rate of 100% while also reducing time-on-task by 87%.

Not only did we achieve excellent results with the CS team, but the sellers also produced more content at a far faster rate. We expected 25% more content creation following the release, but instead received 40,92%.

This new functionality also allows sellers to create 42% faster than previously. We also received positive responses from users, with 96% rating the function as really useful.

User Satisfaction
As a leader, I recognized the value of collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop coherent solutions.

The primary difficulty for me was to have this strategic vision of the role process and interpret it for the team, assisting them in reaching their maximum potential and impacting business goals while meeting the needs of the users.

It was sometimes necessary to cut some great design concepts in order to deliver the product on time. This was not an easy decision for me as a designer, but it was critical for us as a team to meet our objectives and collect input from users as soon as possible.

Clear communication was essential for effectively presenting design decisions and reasoning to stakeholders and team members. Being empathic also made decisions easier; putting myself in the shoes of each member of the team made it less difficult to adjust the process to the demands of users in order to create an intuitive and easy-to-use feature.

I also realized that in order to be a successful UX leader, I needed to stay up-to-date on the newest design trends and technology in order to ensure that the team was producing cutting-edge solutions that met user needs.
